What Is Wrong With People?
What a stupid, stupid act. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
My love and prayers to all in the UK, esp. my buddies in London.
Ugh.
Everything was pretty normal in NYC. Maybe a little quieter. Some people said the crowds on the subways were lighter today. I didn't notice. I did notice that there wasn't the show-of-force presence of police and national guardsman. I did see a man with what appeared to be some kind of detector working my station. The main unit is a large device concealed in a black bag, attached to a collapsable luggage cart. The man pulled this behind him. It was wired to a large box with a viewscreen that hung from a shoulder harness at about waist level. Also wired to this was a three-wheeled yellow conical device, about three feet high, with a thick antennae sticking out of the top.
So I guess there were a few differences this morning.

Behold My Power
A while back I predicted that Noah Haidle would be someone to watch, based on a workshop production of his play that I saw.
My, but his rise was fast. Via Hunka, he's in the Roundabout's new season. Apparantly, I can pick them. Keep that in mind. If I say you're one to watch on this site, all your dreams will come true. You should know that I accept gifts.
In addition, George Hunka does a great service by posting the upcoming NYC seasons for the major players. Here's the list:

Love Triangle
This can't continue. He's always in the room with us, my sweet.
It's always you, me and Elmo.
Child, I gave you life, what has that red egotist given you? Twenty minutes about telephones.
Every day you throw him a party and I have to bring out the cake and stare at his dead bulbous eyes his jaw permanently agape permanently laughing a black tongueless joke at my expense.
My God kid, don't his constant third-person references drive you nuts?
You tuck him in with care with ratty scarves and placemats Just as I tuck you in Only I read to you and when you wake up crying I don't stare like a lobotomized monkey. Look! My arms move see?! Look look!
Okay Okay fine tuck him in, my sweet. As for you, little red demon, squeal your high-pitched laugh. I have patience. She'll outgrow you, and when she does Elmo's World is going to get a whole lot smaller: About the size of a garbage can.
